The Religious Education program is offered at St. Andrews from children Preschool through 12th grade and adults. This program provides faith formation for the children as well as the opportunity to pray together and form community with the other members of the program. Adult Enrichment Education Workshops enable adults to continue their religious education.
The Religious Education program for children begins in mid September and ends in May. The classes meet as follows:
Senior High (9th – 12th grade) meets on Sunday from
7:00 PM – 8:15 PM.
Junior High (6th – 8th grade) meets on Monday from
7:00 PM – 8:15 PM.
Elementary (1st – 5th grade) meets on Wednesday from
3:15 PM – 4:15 PM.
Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten meets on Sunday during
the 10:30 liturgy.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
dismissal takes place during the 10:30 AM Liturgy. CLOW runs all year round and is designed for children in grades 1-5. NO registration is required.
Religious Education Registration for children begins in June for the next program year. The Religious Education along with a registration letter for the next year is mailed to all families who participated in the program in the last year. They are also available at the registration table in the parish hall or by contacting the parish office (293-7500).
The 2010-2011 Religous Education Tuition:
1 child = $50 2 children or more = $70
No one is ever denied a religious education due to financial hardship. Please contact the Director of Religious Education to discuss options. (Need-based scholarships available).
